PSE Pro for C++ Release 6.3 Bookshelf

Welcome to the documentation set for PSE Pro for C++. The documentation is presented in two formats:
  • As a single set in HTML format.
    This set is displayed in your Web browser using the PSE Pro WebHelp facility.
  • As individual documents in PDF format.
    These documents are displayed using the Adobe Acrobat Reader, version 5 or later.


The documentation set for PSE Pro for C++ contains the following documents.

PSE Pro for C++ API User Guide Provides information and instructions for managing databases, and storing, retrieving and updating data. It includes information about PSE Pro features, such as transactions, collections, undo/redo database update, and schema evolution.
PSE Pro for C++ Collections User Guide Provides information and instructions for using the PSE Pro collections facility. There are template and nontemplate classes for bags, lists, arrays, and sets. The collections facility also includes classes for dictionaries.
Building Applications with PSE Pro for C++ Provides information about generating the schema database, compiling, and linking your PSE Pro application.
PSE Pro for C++ Tutorial Provides an overview of the basic concepts of PSE Pro. It uses an example application to show you how to manage databases and store objects.
Writing Applications with PSE Pro for C++ Shows how to write and build simple database applications that use basic features of the PSE Pro for C++ API, including the collections facility.
PSE Pro for C++ Release Notes Describes known problems, upgrade requirements, configuration requirements, compatibility between PSE Pro and ObjectStore, and how to obtain support.
Inspector User Guide Describes ObjectStore Inspector and how to use it to browse, edit, query, and report on data in PSE Pro for C++ databases. Note, Inspector is available only on Windows platforms.

Demonstration Programs

You may want to refer to the Demonstration Programs.
