TimeLine Diagram
The Analyzer window with the TimeLine diagram shows you an application trace with certain application events. You get a bird's-eye view of performance data, such as transaction boundaries, client paging rates, and all important events corresponding to persistent data handling. The information is shown as points and graphs on a time line representing the application's run.
The overview of the application trace helps you identify parts of your application's processing that might have performance problems. You can mark this part of the application trace, display different diagrams for the marked time interval, and get detailed information on possible performance problems.
Besides providing you with an overview of the trace, the TimeLine diagram also functions as the primary mechanism to navigate through the trace. As you change the diagram interval on the timeline, all other diagrams are changed according to the selected time interval.
